What’s your business plan for the upcoming holiday?
This is the season of celebration, spending time with family and friends and having that rare opportunity to simply enjoy each other’s company. The problem is that your business doesn’t necessarily stop for the holidays, even if you’d like it to. Clients may understand that you have shopping to do or family to visit, but their level of understanding tends to be a reflection of how critically they need you at that moment in time. If you could provide yourself with the ability get work done and handle client requests, even when you are out of the office, wouldn’t that benefit both you and your clients?
Having the flexibility to take a little time away from the office is a huge perk this time of year. Adopting a working model, and a technology model, that provides anytime, anywhere access to valuable business applications and data is the key to creating that flexibility in your business, and is an important part of delivering the level of service your clients demand.
It’s not too late to create your holiday business plan. Just make sure that remote access is part of it. It’s one of the most valuable gifts you can give yourself this year.
